Look Mum, I’m on the telly*

*sort of.

I’ve been working with Inov-8 for a couple of years now, and I was very pleased when I got the call to shoot some press images for their new G-Series range of Graphene shoes. There are three shoes in the range – The Terraultra G 260, F-Lite G 290 and Mudclaw G 260, for hard packed trails, Crossfit, and fell running over soft ground respectively, so three days were booked – two in the Lake District, and one at a Crossfit Box in Leeds. The second day of shooting in the Lakes was a wet one. So wet, it was a close contender for the Wettest Shoot Ever, but I digress…

Working closely with experts at the University of Manchester, Inov8 are the first company to use Graphene in a sports shoe – the soles of the shoes are Graphene infused for increased durability, and there was a fair bit of (well deserved) hype surrounding the launch. So much so that the BBC got involved and a feature popped up on the evening news with one of my images appearing behind the presenters. A proud moment indeed!

Below are a few of my favourite images from the three days. Enjoy.

Thanks

Huge thanks to Adrian, Lee and Josh at Inov8, Dave MacFarlane for making another shoot in the Lakes super enjoyable, and to the athletes Katie Hewison, Paul Tierney, and Stuart Trees. My camera kit was stashed in a Lowe Pro Whistler 350 AW.
